About Kon
I am an Ex Competitive swimmer. I competed to a National level making the top 10 final for my age group and event (which was breastroke). Therefore, I can help teach you all of what I have learnt from my training over the years. I have been coached by some of the top coaches in the UK: these have also coached top Olympic level athletes such as Mark Foster. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me :)

I can teach swimmers of all abilities: whether you are a beginner that has never had a lesson or even swum before or are a competitive swimmer trying to improve your technique and times. I tailor make sessions for each individual student as I believe nobody is the same in their learning approach hence I vary my teachings. I can help you become more confident in the water and improve your relationship with it to really help you get the most out of your swimming.
I can provide lessons across central or North London (next to alexandra palace station) for either adults or children. Any questions don't hesitate to ask.

Perfect! Great first lesson! Kon asked questions and listened to what I need from lessons. Through the lesson he gave me some simple clear instructions to work on, and followed up after. Perfect! Kon is a patient, approachable tutor who customizes lessons to individual goals that helps to create a comfortable and personalized environment ->swimming without a stress.
As an adult student occasionally, I find it difficult to erase old habits but thanks to Kon specific errors started to disappear.
Though as an adult swimmer I am aware of my limits, technical aspects of swimming are still extremely important to me.
Kon explains and demonstrates techniques very well. By focusing on body position, breathing ,limb coordination, drills he managed to identify issues. He concentrates on efficiency rather than physical exertion.
In general, a technique is prioritized over distance which I find very appropriate at this stage of learning.
All factors combined contributed to significant improvement of my technique and noticeably improved my stamina (hurray !)
He uses demonstrations, perfectly explains importance of every movement - I find it very helpful. You start to understand how crucial every movement is , connection between movements , direct influences and that your body needs to act as one unit.
Thanks to Kon you begin to understand the core principles of swimming, and you put them into practice to go to another level…- great student very eager to learn!Kon's response :

I really enjoyed my lessons with Kon. He has brought me from a novice swimmer struggling to swim more than 2 lengths without getting knackered to now completing my first half Ironman distance swim! I highly recommend him whether you’re a complete beginner or even training for longer distance swims!
Kon is an experienced teacher. He has helped me find solutions to my issues in the water. I would get extremely tired after one length and didn't know why. He is very patient and knowledgeable and explains the technical side of the stroke to make it slightly more effortless. Highly recommend!
He has provided me with both swimming and tennis lessons. I highly recommend Kon as he is very knowledgeable in his teaching approach and highly analytical.
He explains concepts very simply so they are easy to understand and he is reliable and always willing to help me.
