About Jeremy
I am a freelance composer and sound designer with over 20 years experience in the music, film, game and television industries.
I have worked on films such as The Hobbit (music editing for composer Howard Shore's score and composing original music for the special 'Behind the Scenes' features), Spartacus: House of Ashur and many other game, TV and interactive projects.
I also produce and release my own music on digital platforms and am particularly interested in helping composers and independent artists become successful in the age of music streaming.

I offer one-hour online or in-person lessons for beginner to advanced composition students, from high school through to university level, as well as anyone looking to develop their musical creativity further.
I have previously taught film music and sound design at the New Zealand Film and Television School (Whitireia), with many former students going on to successful careers in the film industry.
