As a computer engineering student, I use math on a daily basis. It may seem like an abstract topic but when it is taught the right way it can be very visual and easy to understand. I have never been a fan of memorizing formulas and blindly applying them without understanding the process behind them, which is why I am promoting my unique approach to struggling students.

Memorizing formulas is boring for everyone and will not last for more than a few days. When it comes to math, what is truly important is visualizing and understanding the concepts behind them.
What my lessons look like:
- Go over the material to see what is mastered and what is not;
- Explain the harder concepts using real-life situations;
- Doing a few practice problems using active recall and spaced repetitions;
