About Peace
I’m a Computer Science graduate and soon-to-be Master’s student who loves that moment when a confusing topic suddenly “clicks” for someone. I grew up moving across countries and school systems, so I’m very used to adapting how I explain things to different backgrounds and languages. Over the past few years, I’ve supported students in programming, algorithms, and career skills, from their very first “Hello, world” to preparing for internships. I’m friendly, structured, and a little bit nerdy: expect organized notes, lots of small “aha” examples, and a calm space where it’s completely fine not to know something yet. Whether you want help with CS, English for academics, or just to feel less lost in class, I’m here to guide you steadily and build your confidence, one concept at a time.

1. My teaching approach & how I share knowledge
Teaching method & techniques
I teach by stripping problems down to their core idea, then building back up with examples. We start with an intuitive explanation, move to a simple visual or analogy, and then translate that into actual code or structured notes. I ask you to “think out loud” so I can see where you’re stuck and correct your mental model, not just the final answer.
Typical lesson plan
Quick check-in – what you’re working on, deadlines, and any urgent questions.
Target concept – for example: loops, classes, pointers to nodes, Big-O, or CV prep.
Guided example – we solve one or two problems together, step by step.
Your turn – you try a similar task while I give hints, not full solutions.
Recap & roadmap – short summary, key takeaways, and a concrete plan for what to practice next.
What sets me apart
Because I’ve been a Teaching Assistant in Java for beginners, Data Structures, and Professional Development, I know the common “traps” in assignments and exams and how to get you past them fast. I’m patient but honest: I’ll encourage you a lot, but I’ll also push you to think rigorously so you actually grow, not just survive one homework.
Who my lessons are for
High-school or early university students in intro CS or data structures
Beginner programmers who want a strong foundation in Java and core CS concepts
Students who speak English as a second language and want clearer explanations and help expressing technical ideas.
