About Sam
I am a STEM tutor and AI/ML engineer with a strong academic background in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics. I have over two years of experience tutoring and teaching college-level students in subjects such as mathematics, physics, computer science, data structures, algorithms, programming, and quantitative problem solving.
My tutoring experience includes working one-on-one with students, leading small-group explanations, helping students prepare for exams, and creating clear step-by-step notes and examples. I have taught students with different levels of confidence, so I focus on being patient, organized, and practical rather than rushing through material.

My lessons are structured around making difficult STEM topics feel organized and manageable. I usually start by identifying what the student is currently struggling with, then break the topic into smaller steps: the core concept, the common problem types, the formulas or methods involved, and then guided practice until the student can solve similar problems independently.
I have over two years of experience tutoring and teaching college-level STEM subjects, including mathematics, computer science, physics, algorithms, and programming. I am completing degrees in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics, and I also work as an AI/ML engineer, so I bring both academic and real-world technical experience into my lessons.
A typical session may include reviewing homework or past mistakes, explaining the underlying concept, walking through examples step by step, and then giving the student practice problems with feedback. I focus heavily on problem-solving strategy, not just getting the right answer, so students learn how to recognize patterns and approach new questions confidently.
