Confidence boosting a speciality ........ English teacher at London - Elizabeth - London

Elizabeth supported my son through a particularly difficult start to his schooling career. As a child born in July and perhaps lacking confidence anyway her struggled a lot when he started school. In Year 1, when my son first started to get homework it was a significant struggle to get him interested and willing to engage in the tasks set for him. We asked Elizabeth to help with this task and she ended up working with my son right the way through to year 5.

The work was a combination of Maths and English literacy tasks and would take about an hour each week. Elizabeth has a very patient and steady approach to working with children that she was able to help my son develop confidence gradually over the time they were working together. Any academic differences in achievement between my son and other children in his class were gone by year 3 however, the relationship with Elizabeth proved fruitful right up until the point we felt he had the confidence to complete his homework by himself.

Elizabeth is a very reliable tutor, very skilled in working with children who may not have a natural inclination towards academic work and communicated very well with us throughout. Elizabeth gave us as parents excellent feedback throughout the time she was working with our son ensuring we were benefitting from her understanding of how he was learning.

Elizabeth provided supportive and encouraging tuition to my daughter in both Maths and English.
