About Kelly
I hold a degree in Languages and Translation – English, and I also work as a journalist, coach, psychoanalyst, and educator. I have experience teaching Portuguese as a second language, with a focus on a light, personalized, and meaningful learning experience. - Qualifications and experience: I have a degree in Languages with a focus on Translation and have worked as a volunteer English teacher in a primary school in Brazil. This experience helped me develop greater sensitivity and patience in the teaching-learning process, especially with beginners. It will be a pleasure to support you on your language learning journey!

My lessons are always tailored to the student’s profile and goals. I use a communicative and practical approach, focusing on real-life conversation and language use. Vocabulary, grammar, listening, and writing are integrated in a contextualised and engaging way. I enjoy working with authentic and dynamic materials, such as songs, videos, texts, and everyday situations.

My lessons are designed for teenagers and adults who wish to learn or improve their Brazilian Portuguese — whether for travel, work, study, or everyday communication. I teach from beginner to advanced levels, always respecting each student’s pace, interests, and objectives.
