About Vasyl
I am Vasyl, a Spanish tutor based in Madrid with two years of teaching experience. I learned Spanish through immersion in Spain and hold the DELE diploma.
Having learned the language myself, I understand how frustrating it can be to know a rule but struggle to use it in conversation. My teaching combines practical speaking with a structured plan and regular feedback.
Outside teaching, I enjoy programming, tennis, piano and long-distance running. I speak English, Ukrainian, Russian, Spanish, and some German.

Learn the Spanish you can use on a trip, in a conversation, or in everyday life in Spain. We will start with your goals and build a clear plan around your level and interests.
Lessons combine guided conversation, useful vocabulary, and focused grammar practice. You will practice everyday situations, receive clear corrections, and know what to work on next. I use personalized materials and can explain difficult points in English when helpful.
If you are starting from scratch, we will build the foundations step by step. If you already know some Spanish but hesitate to speak, we will focus on putting that knowledge into conversation.
All lessons are online. My Madrid schedule includes weekdays and Saturdays, with times that work for students in the United States.
In your free 45-minute first lesson, we’ll discuss your goals, try a short speaking activity suited to your level, and identify what to work on next. Complete beginners are welcome — I can explain in English and help you build your first Spanish phrases.
