About Kathrin
I am currently working as a correpetitionist at a music school and will be studying music from summer on as I already got a permanent place at university. I have been playing the piano for 11 years, now I also work as a salaried organist and will have completed my pop piano education in March. After 9 years of violin lessons, I continued my education in all kinds of music and also completed a music mentor training course, which taught me to teach and rehearse. With 1.0 I successfully passed the Abitur in music.

Music is much more than just a string of notes. I would like to give both beginners and advanced learners piano, violin and music theory lessons, in which attention is paid to individual playing and personal understanding of music. When teaching, I pay attention to the entire musical development, not just technical progress. Therefore, the lessons are very variable - classical exercises, improvisations, musical experiments ... It is important to me to deal with each student individually.

Ein ganz großes Dankeschön an Kathrin. Sie gibt unseren Kindern (6 und 12 Jahre alt) Klavierunterricht. Unsere jüngere Tochter ist sehr zurückhaltend - Kathrin kann aber auch sie durch ihre einfühlsame Art und kreative Ideen begeistern. Die Kinder haben Spaß und dürfen ihre Emotionen am Klavier umsetzen. Natürlich vermittelt Kathrin auch die theoretischen und technischen Grundlagen. Die richtige Mischung, um nicht nur stur Stücke zu üben, sondern das Klavier als Instrument für die eigene Kreativität zu nutzen.
