About Katherine
I currently volunteer helping those with disabilities learn arts and crafts. I am experienced in a number of arts and crafts including drawing, painting, 3D sculptures, ceramics and many other media. I also do computer art in my free time as well as some animation. I am very easy to get along with I have many hobbies that revolve around art and I enjoy helping others and passing on what I know. I work mostly with kids teens and disabled, I will meet u at your home but if you are not comfortable with this then we can arrange to meet somewhere public such as a library. I am here to help!

I teach with examples and like to see how the student manages to do things themselves. I feel the best way of learning is to learn by doing. In this way you get the feel for your artwork and what works best for you and what you're comfortable with. I will also make adjustments depending on learning needs. The student must be prepared for criticism as while they work I will be suggesting ways of improvement and my own ideas. It is never mandatory to listen completely as the idea is to help the student develop their own style.
