About Carol
I am an enthusiastic, creative tutor with over a decade of experience teaching in schools and privately providing one-on-one tutoring sessions for elementary students with special needs. My goal is to improve reading, literacy and math skills through lessons that are fun and engaging. I also use interactive learning to foster intrinsic motivation. I assist students of all skill levels with understanding and excelling in their studies.

My approach as I teach is to get to know each students needs and create a multi-sensory curriculum around each student's interests. A students learning style is always taken into consideration as I formulate my lesson plans. I differentiate and modify instruction in order to achieve the best outcome for each student.
