About Beni
I started my ESL career in 2008 while I performed a study abroad from the University of Connecticut to the University of Essex in the UK. I began with conversational English for adult learners. I moved back to the US to finish my Bachelors degree, Theater Artistic practice and Law. I worked in the International academy with students from many different countries. I found that I was very happy to teach people from other countries. I moved to the Republic of Moldova and continued teaching with students from the ages of 6 to adult learners. I have taught corporate clients, English for specific purposes, business English, and in language centers, private and public schools. In 2019 I found myself teaching in China and again found happiness in living and working in a different country.

I have an extensive theater background so I have a very energetic, up on its feet approach which allows students to take charge of their learning experience. I use role-play, singing, dancing, props, and puppets to keep the learning experience fun and enchanting. I want to know what my students want to learn, what interests them, what makes them want to learn English. I try to take an individual approach with my students. The students begin to understand that English is not just about speaking words it is about what the student can convey with the words they learn. I also build trust with my students so they feel confident to speak.
