About Lucy
My journey with guitar began with a deep love for rhythm, melody, and musical storytelling. I pursued this by completing my Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance (Guitar), where I developed strong technical and creative skills. Over the past 9 years, I have helped students learn guitar in a structured and supportive way.
I believe that learning guitar should feel creative, enjoyable, and structured at the same time. My teaching style focuses on clarity, patience, and steady improvement. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable practicing and exploring their musical ideas. I also adapt my lessons based on each learner’s level and musical interests.
I continue to explore different genres and techniques to keep my teaching fresh and inspiring. Teaching guitar is very rewarding because I see students grow in confidence and creativity. My goal is to help every learner build strong musical skills, improve expression, and develop a lasting and confident connection with the guitar.

Learning guitar becomes more enjoyable when students understand rhythm, technique, and expression together. In my lessons, I begin with basic chords, finger positioning, and simple strumming patterns. I explain everything in simple English so learners can follow easily without confusion. This helps students feel relaxed and confident from the beginning. The learning environment is supportive and encouraging, allowing students to build skills step by step through practice and repetition.
As students progress, I introduce structured topics such as chord transitions, fingerstyle techniques, scales, and rhythm variations. I guide learners through songs and exercises that improve coordination, timing, and musical expression. Each lesson includes correction support and step-by-step practice so students improve steadily. I also help learners understand how to shape tone and express emotion through playing while maintaining control and accuracy.
My goal is to help students play guitar with confidence and creativity. Over time, they develop stronger technique, better rhythm understanding, and improved musical expression. This growth builds both skill and confidence. I support learners in building strong foundations, improving performance ability, and developing a confident and expressive connection with the guitar in both practice and performance.
