About Tanvi
With five years of formal training in art school, I’ve developed strong painting skills and a deep understanding of artistic techniques that I’m excited to share with my students. My experience has taught me not only how to create art, but also how to guide others in building their own confidence and creative abilities. I believe every student can grow as an artist with the right support, patience, and encouragement.
As a tutor, I focus on creating a professional yet welcoming environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace. I carefully plan each lesson to balance skill-building with creative freedom, helping students master the basics while also expressing their own ideas through art. Whether a student is picking up a paintbrush for the first time or looking to strengthen their foundation, I am committed to making each lesson engaging, supportive, and inspiring.

My teaching method focuses on building confidence, creativity, and strong artistic foundations in a fun and supportive environment. I start with the basics of painting, including color mixing, brush techniques, shading, textures, and simple composition skills, while also encouraging students to freely express themselves through their own creative ideas and imagination. I believe art should feel exciting and personal, not stressful or overly strict.
A typical lesson usually begins with a short demonstration of a new technique or concept, followed by guided practice where students paint step-by-step with my support. As students become more comfortable, I give them opportunities to experiment with their own styles, colors, and ideas to help develop creativity and independence. Lessons are interactive, encouraging, and adapted to each student’s pace and comfort level.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my patient and positive teaching style. I create a welcoming environment where beginners and children feel comfortable making mistakes, trying new things, and enjoying the artistic process. I focus not only on improving painting skills, but also on helping students build confidence, creativity, and self-expression through art.
These lessons are perfect for beginners, young children, elementary or middle school students, or anyone who wants to explore painting in a relaxed and enjoyable way without needing previous experience.
