About Georgie
I am 27 Year old and love reading, baking, gardening, swimming and spending time in my Art Studio. Bachelor in Primary Education, 7 years classroom teaching experience. Passionate about psychology of learning and understanding student needs communicated through behaviour. Personally devoted to the importance of inclusive education and developing positive learning relationships with students who have Autism, Adhd, Add, Dyslexia, Downs syndrome or developmental delays. Experienced in partnering with students and their families/carers to provide tailored support for students access learning and develop student confidence and wellbeing.

Most passionate about embedding creativity and arts understanding through integrating literacy, numeracy, geography, science or social emotional concepts into fun and engaging activities that support conceptual development. With the goal to help my students become passionate about developing new skills and knowledge for themselves, through skills of creativity, researching, designing, questioning, reflecting through inquiry and project based learning experiences.
Students from Year 1 to Year 6, for around an hour, with breaks structured in to reduce mental load. I like to structure experiences to have an interesting hook, followed by some thinking and discussion time, an engaging activity to help explore concepts, a physical break like a walk or yoga to give the brain time to process, followed by some supported independent practice time then some reflection time to conclude the session.
