About Lauren
I passed both my English language and literature GCSE with grade A’s. I studied English literature at a level and I have went on to study creative writing at university. I also studied drama at GCSE (grade A achieved) and a level, it is something I study alongside creative writing at university. I have tutored children in schools before, mainly from ethnic backgrounds who struggled with their English. I have worked in primary schools for a few weeks at a time, with younger children too.

I like to understand a person before I start to teach. It’s important to me, that I know how and why the child is struggling with the given subject. Taking an interest in their external hobbies can also have a positive effect on my teaching.
