My teaching methods are not identical to any of my students; I teach as according to my students abilities as following the general intelligence and emotional intelligences theory.
I feel confident tutoring all abilities from primary school to degree level. For me, it is important that the student looks forward to our sessions and feels engaged. I do this by ensuring a variety of learning techniques are used and a comfortable atmosphere is created where the occasional joke is appreciated.
I love to go through the topic part by part. Since, I am a student myself so I know how to break the lecture down into sections so that it is easy for students to understand. I will give practical examples as well as make sure each of u understand. I will give tips on revision and on exams throughout the course.
I base my teaching on understanding. My only interest is that the student understands my tutoring. I carry each lesson with the highest level of professionalism. Unless instructed otherwise, I cover lesson after lesson, in a manner that connects one lesson with the next. I am calm, understanding, open to criticism and opinions and ready to take on any challenge.
I base my teaching on the student's level. I make sure I listen and take notes and make sure that the teaching and tutoring goes on the level of the student. It is important for me to make sure that learning is fun and does not have to be difficult.
(All ages and abilities welcome!) As a university student, I understand that learning one-to-one is important. Each of my students therefore receives a personalised study pack, adapted to each student's needs and requests- whether it be for literature, language, or exam preparation skills.

I base my topic on a variety of things, I like to start off with the basics to see what you are with, and then I get on to the more complex stuff.
I like to understand a person before I start to teach. It’s important to me, that I know how and why the child is struggling with the given subject. Taking an interest in their external hobbies can also have a positive effect on my teaching.
As a university student, it’s important to create a basic structure to follow to allow the brain to process efficiently. For this reason, I will approach each topic by explaining what we want to achieve, followed by an interactive lesson then a small test to conclude what you have learned. I adapt to each individual, so each lesson would be unique.

No teaching method is "one-size-fits-all." Therefore, I will always assess the level and objectives of every student, and compose a plan accordingly. My aim will be to encourage you to be as excited as I am about studying English. Perhaps we can achieve this by writing about your hobbies, or pointing out all of the dirty jokes in Romeo and Juliet.
I have been tutoring for over 8 years. I have tutored around 350 students one to one and have held many small group sessions too. Furthermore, I also hold a certificate to teach English as a second language.
