I have been teaching for over 15 years and have retired from the Lancaster School District as an Education Specialist. I have a desire to work one-on-one with students who need help in Math and English and can provide creative instructional strategies to help students succeed.

I always like to interview the student to get to know them first before working with them and asking them questions like," What are your favorite subjects and what do you find most challenging in a particular subject." In math for example, I like to give them dynamic assignments geared to help them retain facts within the confines of the math topic.
