I have tutored Chemistry and Biology for more than three years, especially with experience in the AQA, Edexcel and OCR exam boards. I specialise in GCSE and A-Level, having studied Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths A-Levels. My style of tutoring is catered to the individual needs of each student, yet focuses on the curriculum of each subject in order to gain both knowledge and exam technique, resulting in excelling in assessments.
One lesson is an hour long; the first lesson will have an informal assessment of the level of understanding of the student to further understand how to structure future lessons. Further lessons will begin with a short quiz to recap on the previous lesson's content, followed by going through new content and ending with an exam question. Finally, a homework task will be given weekly to consolidate the lesson's content.
