About Wen Qi
Hello, 你好呀， my name is Wen! I was born in the UK and raised in a Chinese family. I am a current student majoring in Biological Sciences at the University of Warwick.
I have had a hard time with GCSE and A-level exams, so I would like to reach out to assist teenagers who are undergoing the same period.
I teach
- Maths, Triple/Combined Science, Business Study, Computer Science, and Mandarin at GCSE level.
- Biology, Maths, and Chemistry A-level
I am happy to teach the lesson both in English and Mandarin as I understand some Chinese students have just moved to the UK and are still adapting to the full English study environment, which poses an additional challenge to them.

Each person learns in different ways, some through listening, some through reading, and some through colorful drawings. Being a tutor of teenagers with their egos, I will tailor my teaching style to each student of mine including the difficulty of tasks, class pace, and class atmosphere. Also, I am thrilled to share my personal view and tricks of the subject.
In a lesson, I will use concise notes and draw diagrams to make the knowledge simple but not simpler.
The duration of one lesson is 60 minutes with a 3-minute break in between, where I will ask the student to stand up with me (scientifically proven it helps with blood circulation and relieves physical tension in necks, shoulders, and back) and if they want we can stretch our bodies with background music!
Because I have experienced GCSE and A LEVEL exams, I understand how hard it is to retain the perseverance in adopting good study habits but at the same time distracted by potential pressure from their parents, and relationships with others in school, I will do my best best to assist the student to get through this tough teenage stage, ease the load of anxiety of study and improve their test score by sharing the unique tricks to tackle specific type of questions, therefore to further their understanding and confidence in the subject! Top scores made easy woohoo!!
