About Lincoln
I have worked as a research assistant for two Spanish professors at Boston University. I worked with him to create, format, and edit a new edition of Federico García Lorca's play, "Don Perlimplín," published by the University of Chicago Press in November 2022. I am currently working with another Boston University professor on creating an interactive map that takes viewers on a journey through the evolving dialogue regarding St. Thomas and his possible presence in the Americas prior to the Spanish arrival.
However, that is just what I have done academically. Besides that, I love reading Spanish poetry and novels in my free time, but speaking is where I connect the most with others and have the most fun. I hope to be your fun tutor who helps improve your Spanish.

I hope to teach students the fundamentals of Spanish, focusing on grammar and syntax. If you understand the basic grammatical structures of Spanish, the vocabulary will follow much more easily. However, I also try to make lesson plans fun and base them around the student's interests. For example, if you like sports, we'll talk more about sports. If you like music, we'll talk more about music.
