About Youssef
Hi! My name is Youssef and I'm currently a biological sciences student at UCL, with a particular interest in Zoology. Having recently graduated from A-levels, I understand how daunting they can seem. But with proper practice and guidance, you can make sure you smash your exams in June! I teach around the specification, however, to help with truly understanding tricky topics, I like to break them down, explaining how and why things work. The key to success is always exam practice, and I will work through these in lesson- explaining how to create answers that score as many marks as possible, so you can improve your technique and confidence! I am patient, encouraging, and always happy to adapt my lessons to your needs, anything is possible with guidance!

I focus mostly on Edexcel A-level Biology, as I achieved an A* in it during my A-levels, however, I can also tutor Edexcel A-level Chemistry and GCSE biology/chemistry. My teaching style is centred around exam technique and understanding of key concepts. I achieve this with my students by encouraging discussion-based lessons, and tailoring each lesson to the student. In lesson we will cover topics and information required as outlined in specifications, and looking at how information can be examined. A typical lesson will begin with teaching, followed by interactive ways to retain taught knowledge, followed by feedback on the lesson. My lessons will ensure better understanding and will increase exam confidence.
