About Fionna
Hi! My name is Fionna, and I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree at the University of Connecticut. I have previous tutoring experience with elementary, middle school, high school, and college aged students. I only took the SAT once, and I received a 770 in English. I was able to achieve this solely by studying on my own, and I picked up many helpful strategies that I would love to share. I have taken AP Literature and received a 4.0 GPA in the class. I’ve worked with students from all backgrounds, and I would love to work with you too! :)

I believe in a student-focused approach. I’m open to all different learning approaches, and I understand that some may respond better to a more traditional teaching approach, while others prefer a more peer-centered approach. I’m happy to coordinate with educators, parents, or students to ensure that the educational goals are met, and I believe in developing a lesson plan based off of the needs of the student rather than one standardized plan. I can help with test prep, essay writing, comprehension, and other learning techniques.
