About Ella
Ella Burch is a student at Harvard College studying government. In high school, she worked as Editor-in-Chief for a national political publication, worked in leadership positions on multiple political campaigns, worked with the United States Department of Justice for school district desegregation, and reached the highest award and administrative status in Girl Scouts USA. Ella has extensive experience tutoring SAT/ACT prep, college counseling, and editing essays for admissions and coursework. She has expertise in all classroom subjects, AP and SAT subject testing, and writing coaching. I tend to invest in students' college admissions and essay preparation as early as they prefer and work with them through results day. For test prep, I work with students as young as middle school to prepare for high school and college entrance exams. I offer essay editing and reviewing services for students in any age bracket, with college students included. I am flexible with time, frequency, and rates of my sessions to accommodate a range of individual backgrounds and guarantee accessibility to a wide range of students. As a Harvard tutor, I am experienced in building long relationships with students, teaching a wide array of topics, and guaranteeing results. I aim to make Harvard-calibre tutoring accessible for students who cannot afford the $80-100 rates of Ivy League tutoring while providing the same excellent service.
