I love fun interactive learning environments. I believe lots of discussion regarding topics helps knowledge stay in someones mind, especially younger learners. I am very fun, kind and patient and will take as long as needed to help students understand topics.
I am currently studying my masters at SOAS in Social Anthropology of Development. I specialise in teaching Geography but can also teach theory for PE and GCSE Biology. I have worked in Thailand for a year teaching and also have experience working in local schools in England as a teaching assistant.

Volunteering with APCD, developing videos to present to partners and stakeholders in the Asia-Pacific region. I conduct interviews and meetings with colleges and project partners to help with the development of videos on the 2 key projects APCD are involved with currently.

I worked at girl’s school and tutored alongside at a language school. I worked with children aged 4 to 19 teaching English through enquiry based learning techniques. I taught topics revolving around health, the environment, inequality and geography skills. My role required me to plan lessons, provide continual updates for parents and attend meetings.

During my 4 months in Borneo, I lived and worked within a rural community, delivering training, facilitation, and support to develop local youth entrepreneurs, passing on sustainable business skills and mentoring them to start their own sustainable business. My key responsibilities included, producing ongoing high-quality reports throughout the project including planning, monitoring and evaluation, and financial management of project funds.
