About Anthonie
I have graduated from Stellenbosch University with a Higher Certificate in music (Cum Laude), Bachelor of Music (Cum Laude), and a Master of Music (Cum Laude). I have taught at three different schools with students ranging from eight years to eighteen years of age. In my private lessons I have also had students from their 30's to 60's. Other than my teaching and studying, I also enjoy performing regularly in Classical and Jazz settings.

I teach the methods I use to play freely and musically. My lesson structures are focused on the goals of the student. I have used versions of my teaching strategy in lessons with children and adults and have noticed more enjoyment and motivation than other, more traditional, teaching plans. Together we can learn to play not only the flute, but our favourite music!
