About Diksha

I am Anthropology BA with a double minor in Exercise and Sports Studies/Applied Psychology from UCSB. I completed my Physical Therapy technical degree from Gurnick College of Medical Arts and have been practicing PT for 6 years now specialized in orthopedics/sports. Outside of my busy life, I love to be active and regularly practice yoga, dance, martial arts, gymnastics. My interest in yoga extends to daily life hobbies such as ayurveda, traditional Chinese medicine, and functional/integrative medicine.

About the lesson

my class will always begin with pranayama, gentle dynamic stretching, surya namaskara with variations, standing/balance/strength series, supine/cool down series, and meditation.

I have studied yoga in Bali, Indonesia for 1 month, enriching myself in ancient yoga traditions from world class yoga instructors from Rishikesh, India. In addition to being a PT clinician, I make time to regularly practice Ashtanga Yoga and teach Vinyasa weekly in a group in person class.

I offer online classes for athletes, weekend warriors, corporate workers, and kids.
