About Daragh
I enjoy getting students interested in the subjects I teach, and think the sciences can be a lifelong interest even if they aren't a career choice. They also have a practical element to them, which really helped my understanding and enjoyment so I encourage students to engage in them and follow what they are interested in, from astrophysics to plant biology you learn best when interest motivates you.

Every student learns in a different way, has different needs and more importantly different goals. I tailor the sessions based on the end objective, and work to get you there in a way that gets you the most out of each and every session. Whether it's working towards final A-Level exams or understanding a homework sheet, I can help you achieve your target.
Whilst I do have certain teaching methodologies, I prefer to get to know the student and find what works best for them. I would advise the lessons last for between 30 and 60 minutes for optimal learning. I am happy to teach Maths and Chemistry at GCSE and A-Level, and other sciences at GCSE.
At A-Level I studied Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics. My BSc was in Chemistry with a minor in Anatomy and Physiology, with my final project focused on inorganic chemistry. I then went to work for AkzoNobel as an R&D Chemist before returning for an MSc in Data Science.
