About Mya
I am passionate about helping others, and love teaching others about my subjects of interest. I am responsible, prompt, and flexible. Currently, I do research on campus on essential fatty acids and aquatic ecosystems, and I also have a part time job in which I have been employed for over a year. I have taken several pedagogy classes and obtained field hours at a local school. I have managed a station at my local church’s VBS program since middle school, and worked with children and adults in a variety of other volunteer settings.
