About Ellie
My name is Ellie Webster, and I am a third year History student at Durham University. I have a deep passion for all things learning and knowledge, and truly believe that where knowledge is, is power. In particular, I am interested in any form of history and the lessons we have learnt from it, including philosophical ideas, war, culture and how society has been formed. My A-levels were in History, Art and Religious Studies, in which I got all As. Additionally, I am happy to advise on longer-breadth projects such as EPQs, which I also did.

The most valuable way for students to thrive is to cultivate a lesson that works for them. After gaining straight A’s at A-level and high grades in my GCSEs, I believe that my knowledge is particularly valuable to helping students strive to the best of their ability. In particular, my skills in academic writing, descriptive and analytic, have led me to achieve high grades at university, as well as being published in numerous blogs, articles and academic journals. My lessons would include workshops on how to form arguments coherently, descriptive analysis, and how to construct contexts within essays.
