I am happy to tutor students up and in equivalent to A-level standards. I hope to structure lessons based around each individual students' optimum way of learning. I am a Religion and Theology student currently studying at a Russell Group university. I offer lessons to students taking GCSE and A Level Religious Studies/Philosophy and Ethics courses. Hi, I am a doctoral student coming to the end of my research. I have a masters degree in international management and a post graduate diploma in public administration. I offer one to one tutoring, supervision, and advice academically. Get in touch.
In Lessons I wil outline the topic and key learning objectives, and take the student through each key aspect of the topic step by step. I believe that lateral thinking and visual learning are important to education in History, an approach that I personally found most beneficial as a history student.
I approach each unit individually, as that is how they are examined. I then approach each topic individually and find common themes which could be used in an essay or a short answer. Each style of question differs greatly, and so each topic will be targeted in multiple ways.
I tailor my approach to each student or group, as I find that no one method works for all students. I aim to provide students not only with an increased understanding and confidence in their subject but also with the ability to effectively study their subject outside of tutoring sessions.

I am ready to tutor anyone at any level, however I am only confident I have the broad enough knowledge to educate younger people to achieve better in formal education. My method of choice would be to discuss a subject or problem, prompt answers, but never dictate or base anything on authority, but rather to help the learner understand and arrive at a valid conclusion.
