About Finley
I am an extremely personable and understanding tutor, due to still being enrolled in University I still recall much about my experience with GCSE's and so I am able to relate my lessons to previous experience. I have always been passionate about maths and believe I have the ability to explain the same solutions in multiple ways until students find one that resonates with them.

Typically I will try to find unseen question papers/ individual questions and have students work through questions whilst explaining their thought process, then guiding through mistakes without giving the pupil the answer. If a student is struggling with particular topics, I may also go through and solve a question myself whilst explaining my thought process ensuring the student follows the logic of my solution. I have previously worked in a school tutoring SATS level maths as an after-school booster lesson and worked as a tutor during my lunch time as an A-level student for children between years 7-11.
