About Lizzie
I am passionate about helping others maximise their potential through gaining confidence to know they can succeed. I treat all students as individuals - I recognise that all students have different educational backgrounds and preferred learning methods, and target my lessons to meet these needs.
I am passionate about Geography, with specific interests in urban and feminist geography sub-disciplines. I am currently writing my undergraduate dissertation on the experience of female sports fans within online communities.

My approach to teaching is very much guided by my students and what they want to get out of their lessons, whether this is improving understanding or essay and exam techniques. Typical lessons range from 30-60 minutes, as I am flexible depending on the student's needs and level (I tutor from Year 7 through to degree level). I ensure I provide students with ongoing positive and constructive feedback, which we can work on together in future sessions.
I also offer the option of students contacting me outside of lesson time if they have an urgent query, for example if they have a deadline or exam coming up.
I am also able to provide assistance with university admissions, including personal statements.
