About Hope
I am a freshmen at the University of Pittsburgh. I am originally from the DC area! I am majoring in Early Childhood Education and minoring in Special Education. So my future will be teaching! I find myself to be a very outgoing person and am open to talk about anything. I use to intern in a first grade classroom and help students with their work in class. I also did after school tutoring at Arsenal Elementary School. I have a real passion for teaching and I cannot wait to meet you all and start!

I think a good approach is going through problems together and breaking down the steps to make it understandable for the student. Then allowing the student to try on their own. This approach is helpful for all ages and helps students be able to apply what they're learning and become independent.
