About Sydney
I tutored chemistry for two years in high school. I have taken general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry at the University of California Santa Cruz. I am very devoted to my education, and I love helping other students learn. Classes are stepping stones to a future career.

I like to use the active learning approach. I have had a lot of teachers in the past; however, there have been teachers that have made learning a bit more of a struggle for me. That is why I believe that not only what you teach, but the way you teach is crucial. I believe in different learning strategies and in the teaching philosophy, "show, don't tell." I like to be very structured in my lessons. I believe that organization aids learning.
