About Maté
As a graduate student with a GPA of 4.0, I am passionate about mathematics and science.
My experience as an oral examiner has given me a real sensitivity to teaching. Whether in elementary school or high school, I adapt to each student's level and pace, with a genuine desire to follow my students' progress over the long term.
When it comes to music, with 15 years of piano experience, I am able to accompany any beginner with patience and method in their first musical steps.
Finally, my French lessons are a reliable opportunity to practice with a native speaker.

Qualifications & Experience
With my experience as an oral examiner in mathematics at the prestigious Lycée Saint-Louis (Paris), one of the most selective preparatory high schools in France, I spent a semester tutoring students in preparatory classes. As a native French speaker, I also offer French lessons open to all levels.
Teaching Approach & Methodology
For science classes, I prefer sessions of about 1 to 1.5 hours, focused on practice through exercises. My goal is not to simply give the answers, but to let the student think for themselves, while guiding them towards the key points of the lesson. Depending on their needs, we can review the lesson together and create a summary revision sheet to consolidate what they have learned.
For piano, 30-minute sessions are generally sufficient for beginners, but can be extended depending on motivation and progress. I choose a piece with the student that is suited to their level, while teaching them the right learning techniques.
French sessions last approximately 1 hour and are based around a theme chosen together, for targeted and interactive learning. This is a great opportunity to improve your oral and written skills with a native speaker.
Who are my lessons for?
My science lessons are for students from elementary school through high school. My piano lessons are open to all beginners, with no age limit. My French lessons are open to all, whether you are a beginner or advanced.
