About Desiree Lyka

The modern world belongs to those who can navigate both the complex logic of digital systems and the nuanced art of human communication. While many individuals choose to specialize in either the analytical world of technology or the creative realm of media, true innovation happens at their intersection. A journey defined by a passion for reading and writing, an academic focus on Information Technology, and an early achievement in journalism represents this exact fusion—a powerful combination of skills uniquely suited for the digital age.A lifelong love for reading and writing forms the core foundation of this journey. Reading expands horizons and deepens understanding, while writing provides the platform to articulate complex ideas with clarity. This deep appreciation for language naturally paved the way for an early achievement as a journalist. Journalism demands accuracy, speed, and the ability to synthesize vast amounts of information into a compelling narrative. Standing as a published journalist proves an innate ability to connect with an audience, investigate facts, and tell stories that matter—skills that remain rare and highly valuable in any professional field.Currently, this path winds through the rigorous domain of Information Technology studies. On the surface, coding, database management, and network architecture might seem completely detached from the world of prose and reporting. In reality, they share a fundamental DNA: structure, logic, and problem-solving. Writing clean, efficient code requires the same precision as editing a tight news article. Furthermore, studying technology provides the technical literacy needed to understand the platforms, algorithms, and infrastructure that power modern media, making the transition between the two fields seamless and intuitive.Ultimately, this unique blend of skills creates a distinct competitive advantage for the future. The tech industry desperately needs professionals who can translate complex technical jargon into accessible human stories, just as the media industry requires tech-savvy minds to pioneer new digital storytelling formats. By anchoring a technical education in the strong communication roots of journalism and creative writing, this journey is not just about adapting to the future—it is about actively shaping how technology and human stories connect.

I can teach my students english translations, even write their essays or probably help them to improve their vocabulary and be persistent in learning. Teaching English is far more than instructing students on grammar rules and vocabulary lists. It is the process of opening doors to global communication, fostering cultural exchange, and empowering individuals with a vital life skill. As the current global lingua franca, English serves as the primary bridge connecting people from different linguistic background across business, science, education, and entertainment. Consequently, an effective English lesson does not merely pass down linguistic facts; it builds the confidence and critical thinking skills required to navigate a interconnected world.
