About Maren
My teaching approach focuses on building confidence, understanding, and exam technique. I tailor lessons to each student's learning style, breaking down complex topics into manageable steps and using a variety of resources, including specification-based questions, past papers, mark schemes, revision notes, and interactive activities. Having recently completed GCSEs and currently studying A-Levels, I understand the challenges students face and can provide effective revision strategies, memory techniques, and exam skills that have helped both myself and the students I support achieve strong results. I encourage active participation throughout lessons, ensuring students feel comfortable asking questions and developing independent learning skills.
