My lessons are designed for GCSE students who are looking for additional support in their studies or for those who are struggling with specific topics.
I firmly believe that the best way to help a student better understand mathematics is to help them understand why the methods are the way they are. Furthermore, I feel that being comfortable with the inverse of a function is key to helping understand it.
In my personal opinion, it is clear that different students learn in different ways and so tutoring should be approached in a more personalised and catered light. Therefore the length of lessons should be personalised to the specific student and what suits them best.
Additionally, I have previous experience as a maths tutor as when I was in my second year of my A-Levels I volunteered to help in a 1-on-1 student support group for children who were struggling. As well as this I also have additional experience in teaching and mentoring as during my A-Level studies I worked part time training new crew at McDonalds. Both of these experiences have provided me with the skills necessary to help teach and tutor many different kinds of people.
