I have always loved communicating with my classmates about how to approach problems and if the solution makes sense and if there are any better ways to think about a given situation. This means I'm able to approach problems from multiple different angles and can link together different areas of math fluently to help solve a question

My approach is to first teach the student about a particular area of interest, and then immediately get them to attempt a question about that area. If they get stuck, I use subtle hints to try and get the tutee to figure out the question on their own. I can then provide follow up questions which can be more or less difficult depending on the needs of the student.
