About Elena
I prefer to adapt my methodology to each student, because what works with someone doesn’t necessarily work with everyone, and this way I can follow my students’ learning style and be most efficient. Unless the course has a specific purpose (conversation, proficiency tests, etc.) I always develop all the skills simultaneously (reading, listening, writing, for example). I usually use a learning manual but I always complete my classes with multimedia and games, and prepare activities about topics that interest the students.

I am Elena, Italian born and raised but living in Brazil (I moved here about 10 years ago). I have a Master’s degree in foreign languages, a diploma in cultural management and one in editorial design, and I have been working as a teacher for over 10 years.
I am a collaborator of the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in São Paulo, I've taught in some major companies like Prada, Luxottica, Almavia, and I always keep in mind the cultural aspects of my country when preparing my courses.
