Dance artist who understands this form of expression as a powerful tool for social transformation and individual autonomy — a weapon with high liberating potential for constructing new narratives and ways of existing and acting in the world, especially as a form of resistance for subalternized bodies. She seeks to use peripheral aesthetics to promote an anti-colonial perspective that values and celebrates the body, its pleasures, and its possibilities, committing to share the products of these cultures with respect, responsibility, and quality. She actively participates in the struggles for the recognition of the importance of culture and art in society and for the democratization of everyone’s right to access them.
