About Sumedha
I am an inter-disciplinary dance artist, playing around dance, film, theatre and sound
I learn a lot from teaching, because it gives perspectives to expand the horizons of dance as a discipline.
Currently I am working as a part-time faculty in a Liberal arts institution Ashoka University.

--ABOUT MY TEACHING --
My teaching method works a lot on intuition. I do not believe in imposing a curriculum rather work on improvisation. I do not believe in teaching a technique rather I share choreographic tools inspired from dance,theatre and film that gives a holistic understanding of dance as a discipline. You create your own dance!
I have taught in universities like Jawahar Lal Nehru University and Ashoka University. I also love sharing my knowledge with children.
