About Caitlyn
Hi!
I'm Caitlyn. I am studying to be a primary teacher at university. I coach basketball, swim teacher and work in school holidays to run birthday parties and holiday programs that involve teaching dance.
I love working with kids, I tend to focus my learning and change my lessons to focus on what each individual needs. I believe in creating a fun, and welcome environment to help students grow but also enjoy themselves.
I am positive, bubbly, am really good with kids with a valid paid WWCC, and first aid/CPR. I consider myself fun, but still strict enough to get the best out of each kid.
I started dancing when I was 4. I have danced at a lot of different schools, always aspired to open my own dance school. I have a skill of dance choreography. Now at 21, I would love to help turn my passion of dance and teaching together.

About the lesson

1 Hour Lessons
Each lesson will involve a warm-up, technique development in a chosen style and will include either a dance choreographed by me or advice on an already choreographed routine.
Lessons will all be conducted online through Zoom. No exceptions.
Strongly suggested for students who are working towards/ and or need assistance on dance competitions. Happy to choreograph competition numbers for students, or help develop students' routines and focus on technique to create stronger dancers.
Students of primary school age mainly suggested, high schoolers accepted, and kinder kids who are passionate about dance.
All levels welcome.
Specialize in hip hop, but understand jazz and contemporary.
