About Jack
Jack has worked as a data scientist for nearly 10 years at top tech companies including Spotify, Duolingo, Atlassian, and The New York Times. He received a Bachelor's in Economics from Claremont McKenna College and a Master's in Data Science from UC Berkeley. Jack is now a full-time data consultant, teacher, and career coach.

Typically my students are 18+
I focus on the practical side of data science. What do you need to be successful in school, interviews, or on the job? I love to distill complex statistics and programming concepts to something much simpler that anyone can understand.
Typical lesson:
[5-15 minutes] Get to know you and assess your needs
[10-20 minutes] Discuss underlying theory or concepts
[15-45 minutes] Work through a real example (either provided by you or I can supply my own materials)
After our lesson, I will share customized data science resources so you can continue to study on your own.
For ongoing tutoring, I will develop a sequence of lessons to help achieve your goals in the most painless way possible.
Statistics and programming can be intimidating, but with practice, I promise you can become an expert!
