About Angelina
Hi! My name is Angelina and I am a recent graduate of Human Rights and Sociology at UC Davis. As a new member of the Bay Area community, I am incredibly excited to get started teaching both basic voice, ukulele, and keys to kids ages 4-10. Music has always been central to my social and academic life, and I believe music has the power to create a world of imagination, self-confidence, and expression in growing minds!

As a voice and piano teacher, my goal is to nurture each child’s unique musical voice while helping them build strong foundational skills. I believe music should be both educational and joyful — something that sparks creativity, confidence, and discipline all at once. My approach combines structured learning with creative exploration, allowing students to develop technique and theory in a way that feels engaging and rewarding. Teaching Method & Techniques I focus on a mix of ear training, basic chord progressions, rhythm work, and expressive performance, always tailored to each student’s age, level, and interests. With younger students, I often use games, movement, and storytelling to make learning musical concepts fun and relatable. For voice students, I emphasize healthy vocal habits, breathing, diction, and confidence in performance. For piano students, we work on proper hand position, reading notation, and developing musicality from the very first notes.
