About Thomas
Hi I'm Thomas and I’m a Bachelor of Commerce student majoring in Financial Management, and I’ve been actively involved in the trading world for the past three years. I’ve had the opportunity to shadow a top day trader at a hedge fund in Cape Town for over three months, gaining real-world insight into professional trading environments. A year later I've managed to secure a part time desk at such hedge fund and am actively working there alongside my studies. I’ve tried almost every approach to trading — from scalping and swing trading to algorithmic strategies — which has helped me understand what really works and what doesn’t. Through this, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for risk management, trading psychology, and structured strategy development. I speak fluent English and explain concepts in a simple, clear, and easy-to-follow way. My lessons are relaxed but practical — designed to make trading understandable, even if you’re a complete beginner.
