About Kimberly
I have been deaf since birth
I have had speech therapy while learning English language
I wore hearing aids in high school
I understand the need to communicate, and will do everything to make learn ASL fun, informative and easier to learn
I actually tutor multiple subjects, i had to make ads for them all separately though. ASL is a beautiful language and not just for deaf people! Autistic children can learn and communicate, mute children so forth the possibilities are endless!

I am deaf woman who takes pride in knowing a lot of subjects, I have multiple degrees/certifications. I tweak the learning process based on the student in question. We are not a one size fits all people so why should learning and teaching be?
Teaching methods are hands on, visual or spoken and many more can be learned for the person learning. I adapt my teachings/tutoring to the client/student in need.
My tutoring sessions will be for those that don’t mind a person without a teaching degree, but a has her heart in it.
My degrees are BS. Real Estate, MS. Psychology and Cert. In Wedding and Event Planning. I will also be going back to school for another degree. Never too late to learn either!
I speak English 98% of the time; however, I am bilingual as I also know American Sign Language!
What sets me apart from other tutors is that I have many years of experience with teaching/tutoring people in various ages from kids to adults. I am not one to just give up on you, I try many avenues to help you understand the work in front of you!
