About Freya
My enthusiasm for history stems from my education and experiences. I visited historical landmarks such as the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland back in year 10, as well as visiting Athens in 2023 with college. From this I was able to enhance my knowledge outside the classroom, fueling my curiosity to delve deeper into different eras, particularly the Ancient Greeks. History has always been a fascinating subject to me and teaching my knowledge and experience to other students to help them achieve their academic goals brings me joy!

My teaching methodology approach would be active recall as this forces students brains to pull information out, aiding in stronger memorisation and comprehension.
The typical length of my lessons will start from one to two hours depending on the level of tutoring the student needs.
My qualifications in History stem from GCSE up to A level experience with a grade 6 in GCSE history and a B in Ancient History at A level
My lessons are mainly aimed at primary school students as well as GCSE level too!
