I'm a dedicated chess coach with over four years of experience helping students grow in skill, confidence, and competitive results. My students range from complete beginners to advanced tournament players, with my highest-rated student reaching a USCF rating of 1988. A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material or games played, followed by focused work on a specific theme—such as opening principles, middlegame planning, tactics, or endgame techniques. I use a mix of interactive exercises, real-game analysis, and structured lessons to reinforce learning and track progress over time.
What sets me apart is my ability to break down complex ideas into simple, actionable steps. I emphasize understanding why a move works, not just what move to play. I’ve helped players climb from beginner to 1800+ strength, and my students benefit from both structured guidance and the flexibility to explore their own ideas with support.
